ACE Eddie Nominations Announced

The American Cinema Editors have announced their nominees for Best Edited feature in Dramatic and Comedy. Surprisingly, there are six nominees in Drama category which resulted from a tie in voting. DuVernay's Selma takes a hit as the Civil Rights feature is ignored even with six nominees. Nightcrawler continues to surge in momentum with this year's Guild opener ACE Eddie nomination. American Sniper and Whiplash receive a nice shout-out. And other notable absentees are Unbroken, Theory of Everything, Foxcatcher and Interstellar. Birdman and The Grand Budapest Hotel lock horns in Comedy. Guardians of the Galaxy finds some affinity among five nominees, so does Inherent Vice and Into the Woods.
